WELCOME TO BIKRAM YOGA YARRAVILLE
The Original Hot Yoga in the West of Melbourne! Bikram Yoga is a precise series of 26 postures and two breathing exercises, practiced for 90 minutes in a room heated to approximately 39 degrees C with 40% humidity. The Bikram Yoga series is designed to create optimal physical and emotional health and is suitable for students of all ages, abilities and states of health. The practice is accessible to those people who have never practiced yoga before, and still strong enough to challenge even a seasoned athlete. Many people who practice Bikram Yoga regularly report that they experience health and well-being benefits.
Our teachers are fully qualified and re-certified, having completed 9 weeks of intensive training under Bikram himself. We guide students with verbal instructions to move into each posture, to the best of their ability, carefully using focus and breath to create physical, mental and emotional change.
We understand that life places different demands on each of us but when you commit to a regular and consistent practice, whether it is once a week or everyday, you will begin to notice a remarkable difference in your physical, mental and emotional well-being.
